Our client is looking for a Data Business Partner to join their Specialty Underwriting business to drive strategy across Data and AI for Underwriting Operations.

This position will sit within a centralised data function where you will partner with Underwriting teams to identify and deliver high-value data and AI use cases.

What you'll do

• Partner with underwriting teams to identify and deliver high-value data and AI use cases.
• Translate business needs into practical data solutions, ensuring adoption and measurable ROI.
• Assist in leading stakeholder engagement, including senior leadership, to align data priorities and strategy.
• Support data quality, reporting, and governance across underwriting operations.
• Promote best practice and knowledge sharing across regions and functions.

What you’ll bring

• A background in analysis and data-focused business partnering, specifically in Insurance.
• Proven success delivering data projects, specifically in Insurance/ Underwriting.
• Experience influencing stakeholders and managing cross-functional programmes.
• Knowledge of insurance operations and platforms; Power BI experience is a plus.
• Agile mindset with ability to balance strategy and fast-changing business demand.

This is a full-time role, based in London with 2-3 days per week in the office required.
