Hybrid Work Model

Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Data Consulting, the Data Consultant serves as a primary contact regarding data quality for assigned client accounts. Through ongoing consultation, implementation support and issue resolution, the Data Consultant ensures clients meet their business goals using best‑in‑class data practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own book of business, build trusted advisor partnerships and client relationships, and act as the primary point of contact for all data needs.
  • Develop documentation covering all clients' data assets, processes and best practices.
  • Deliver client presentations, trainings and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Guide existing clients to keep data updated and optimized for success.
  • Conduct strategy sessions, workshops and ongoing consultation aligned with Assent's data standards and processes.
  • Proactively monitor client data and systems to ensure ongoing data quality and accuracy.
  • Perform ad‑hoc analysis, report development and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Maintain expertise in Assent's products, features and roadmap to help clients maximize value.
  • Identify process improvements, technical issues and make recommendations.
  • Proactively identify data risks, assess potential impacts, and collaborate with internal teams to implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to continually enhance Assent's data solutions and client experience.

Qualifications

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum 3‑4 years of related work experience.
  • Proven track record of building trusted advisory relationships.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and additional proficiency in German.
  • Advanced Excel skills – able to leverage all Excel functions to analyze and report complex datasets.
  • Excellent understanding of data management and analysis principles.
