Data Ingestion Supervisor

We are searching for an experienced Data Ingestion Supervisor.

Make an Impact at RSM UK

There has never been a more exciting time to pursue a digital career at RSM. We are growing rapidly, and with that growth comes an opportunity to combine an interest in systems with a logical mind to join our expanding data ingestion team at a leading firm in the middle market.

Our digital teams represent the future of our service offering, developing and deploying sophisticated data analysis capabilities that enhance quality and insight. Our data ingestion function is a critical component of this strategy, and we are investing significantly in its expansion to meet growing demand across the firm.

As a Data Ingestion Supervisor, you will manage straightforward ETL projects from start to finish, coach and develop the team, and serve as the primary point of contact for our teams on standard ingestion requirements. This role combines technical expertise with people management, offering excellent opportunities for career progression in a growing field that is fundamental to the future of professional services.

You’ll make an impact by:

  1. Managing straightforward data ingestion engagements from initiation to completion
  2. Project managing routine ETL work, ensuring quality and timely delivery
  3. Supervising and coaching the team on technical and professional development
  4. Serving as the primary point of contact for RSM teams on standard ETL requirements
  5. Identifying opportunities to improve ingestion processes and recommending enhancements

What we are looking for:

Your experience could come from various backgrounds - data analytics consultancy, in-house data teams, accounting software implementation, or similar roles involving data extraction and transformation. What matters most is your technical competence, leadership potential, and enthusiasm for our growing field.

Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  1. Demonstrable experience with ETL tools (preferably including Alteryx) and data processing
  2. Experience working with accounting systems and financial data
  3. Proven ability to manage projects and deliver to deadlines
  4. Experience or clear potential for coaching and supervising others
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to work independently

What we can offer you:

We recognise that our people are our most important assets. That’s why we offer a flexible reward and benefits package that will help you have fulfilling experience, both in and out of work.
