Data & Insight Manager, Oxford - Hybrid working, £47,000 – £54,000

About the Role: We are seeking a confident, people-focused Data & Insights Manager to lead a small team and drive change through data. This is a customer-facing leadership role where you’ll transform complex procurement, spend, and usage data into clear, story-led insights that influence senior stakeholders.

• Lead, motivate, and support a team of three analysts, ensuring delivery of high-quality, impactful dashboards and reporting.
• Develop clear, engaging Power BI dashboards that highlight opportunities for savings and efficiencies.
• Extract and interpret data from multiple systems, presenting insights that drive strategic decisions.
• Build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders through confident presentations and strong influencing skills.
• Work collaboratively with system experts (catalogue, inventory, contracting) to improve processes and outcomes.
• Set and forecast savings targets, provide strategic advice, and support the delivery of measurable improvements.

About You: We’re looking for a leader who can combine technical skills with people skills. You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

• Experienced in data analysis and dashboard development (Power BI essential).
• Confident presenting complex information in a clear, engaging way to senior stakeholders.
• Skilled in team leadership, with the ability to support and motivate colleagues through change.
• Curious and proactive, keen to understand systems and suggest improvements.
• Adaptable, with a balance of detail awareness and the ability to tell the bigger story.
