About the Role
Capital One is a data driven business and has a range of data platforms used for the storage and processing of data. As data is used so widely and is fundamental to our business we need to make sure that data is correct, understood and handled correctly. This is where Data Stewardship comes in. Data Stewards play a crucial role in collaborating with data producers and consumers alike, to ensure our data remains compliant to both our internal policies and external regulations. Alongside this, our Stewards invest time to ensure data quality is strong, and provide tooling to help users of the data understand it better. Our core focus is to make sure that anyone using our data to drive business decisions can do so with confidence in its accuracy.
