The Role

Capco is seeking a Data Management Consultant to join our growing Data Strategy & Advisory team, focusing on the Energy sector. You will lead the design and delivery of data management frameworks and capabilities that support data-driven decision-making, regulatory compliance, and operational transformation for top-tier energy clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data management frameworks - policies, standards, and operating models
  • Oversee metadata management, data quality, governance, and data lineage for critical programmes
  • Implement and embed enterprise data tooling such as Collibra, Solidatus, Talendor Ataccama
  • Deliver data training and literacy initiatives, enabling data ownership across organisations
  • Manage mixed Capco-client teams, ensuring high performance and inclusive collaboration

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in data management and analytics within complex project environments
  • Deep knowledge of frameworks like DAMA, DMBOK, DCAM or CDMC and related tooling
  • Track record of defining and implementing data governance, data quality and metadata strategies
  • Proven stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business domains
  • Experience in the energy or utilities sector with relevant domain-specific data knowledge

Bonus Points For

  • 3–5+ years of consulting experience or data change roles in top-tier organisations
  • Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
  • Knowledge of energy sector regulatory frameworks and market data practices
  • Formal certifications in data governance, data management, or analytics
  • Experience designing and delivering internal data management training and capability development
