ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Data Operations Executive to join our Newspaper Content Team and support the digitisation and publishing of historical newspapers for Findmypast and The British Newspaper Archive.

You'll be at the heart of our newspaper workflow, monitoring and managing the systems that power our publishing pipeline. Your day-to-day will involve problem-solving across internal tools, ensuring documents and datasets are moving smoothly through various processes, and working closely with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure everything stays on track.

Your work will directly support the availability of millions of historical newspaper pages used by genealogists, researchers, and the public worldwide.

We're looking for someone who is detail-focused, organised, and technically curious. You don't need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable learning new tools and thinking logically through workflows.

Findmypast is a remote-first organisation with office hubs in London and Dundee. This is a permanent, hybrid role (predominantly home-based/remote), working 35 hours per week, with regular team days at our Dundee Meadowside office (approximately once every fortnight).
