An impactful opportunity has arisen for a skilled data professional to join a forward-thinking charity as a Data Operations Manager. This role is central to ensuring the integrity and efficiency of data systems that underpin vital services, fundraising, and engagement activities.
The Opportunity
The organisation is undergoing a significant digital transformation, including the implementation of a new Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM system and a suite of modern data tools. This role plays a key part in embedding these systems and ensuring data is clean, accessible, and effectively used across the organisation.
The Data Operations Manager will be responsible for managing data flows, supporting income processing, and maintaining high standards of data governance. This is a strategic role with clear progression opportunities, such as into a System Lead role.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the custodian of CRM data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance
Manage data import/export routines for key supporter and fundraising data
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data is correctly ingested and utilised
Support income processing through the CRM, including Gift Aid, direct debits, and events
Define and enforce data standards and best practices across the organisation
Maintain legacy systems and support third-line CRM queries as needed Candidate Profile
Ideal candidate will bring:
Strong experience with SQL (SSIS, SSRS) and data management tools
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
Expertise in data validation, de-duplication, and cleansing techniques
A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Benefits and Progression
Structured salary progression - £35,825 per annum, increasing to £38,065 after 6 months service and satisfactory performance and to £40,304 after a further 6 months (which can keep increasing to £50,000 at annual reviews).
Remote-first – with occasional travel to London office.
39 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
