In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure and pipelines that enable the collection, storage, and analysis of large datasets. You’ll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and optimized for business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
• Integrate data from various sources into centralized data warehouses or data lakes.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all platforms.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support advanced analytics and reporting.
• Optimize data processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement best practices for data governance, monitoring, and documentation.
• Stay up to date with emerging tools, technologies, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Data Ingestion (Extraction): experience of Fivetran or Stitch or similar tools
• Cloud Data Warehouse/Lake: Snowflake skills or similar
• Data Transformation /Pipelines : dbt or similar
• Data Analysis & Visualization: Fabric, Looker or Tableau
• Orchestration: Airflow or Dagster
• Proven experience as a Data Platform Engineer or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
• Programming skills in Python, R, Java, or Scala.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
