The LBGI Chief Control Office provides first line control expertise and stewardship of the control environment—partnering with Risk & Control Owners and the Risk function to deliver the Group's Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF). This role strengthens LEIL's non-financial risk and control environment (with emphasis on Data Privacy Management), embedding the Group's revised Data Policy.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and help the business apply the Group Data Policy Framework and monitor on-going compliance, undertaking Data Privacy Impact Assessments, breach management, and managing Individual Rights Requests.
  • Help build an effective control environment and perform control assessments and testing.
  • Uncover emerging issues and/or needs and identify potential causes, related issues, key stakeholders and barriers.
  • Provide day to day guidance to the business including acting as a subject matter expert for LBGI on Data Privacy and Records Management.
  • Identify, impact assess and implement regulatory/legislative change in conjunction with the business.
  • Maintain and develop a network of colleagues within LBG and externally.
  • Support cyclical audit activities (internal & external), ensuring policies and procedures are followed and implemented.
  • Possess a GDPR Qualification (Foundation essential, Practitioner desirable).
  • Proactive self-starter with ability to self-organise, plan and prioritise activities.
  • Comfortable working in a changing environment.
  • A growth mindset and a willingness to try new ways of doing things; "We\'re bold" in Lloyds Living.
  • The ability and skill to interpret and apply knowledge of laws, regulations and policies in area of expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with others at all levels.
  • A proven track record in influencing senior company executives and credibly participating in strategic discussions.
