Data Product Manager (SQL, Python, ETL) - Global Reg Tech Data and SAAS Co - London/Ireland - Remote - up to £75k
We are hiring for a dynamic, passionate Data Product Manager to shape and grow our global data and API integration capabilities. You’ll work with the Head of Product and jurisdictional data experts to deliver scalable data solutions and APIs for real-time registry data, with a focus on anti-money laundering (AML) and related regulatory data needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion through scalable data solutions
- Design and optimize API, data transforms, and integration patterns for scalability and performance
- Build systems to analyze product adoption, market performance, and business metrics
- Lead the development and maintenance of our developer portal, API documentation, and technical resources
- Design and implement automated data processing, quality assurance, and operational workflows
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for development teams
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build features incrementally using agile methodologies
- Design and implement automated testing strategies for data products and APIs
- Work with engineering, data science, and business teams to ensure successful product delivery
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and technical capabilities to inform product decisions
Qualifications / Requirements
- 3+ years experience in data analytics, product management or software engineering
- Experience with commercial data products or data-driven businesses
- Strong Python programming skills and data manipulation
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL databases and data warehousing concepts
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate product performance and business metrics
- Understanding of agile development methodologies, particularly Scrum
- Passion for building scalable data products and driving business growth
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Clear verbal and written communication to articulate technical concepts
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently on technical initiatives
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field
- Background in Financial Crime/KYC-related role
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and developer tools
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data quality management
- Experience in a software/data tech startup (seed to Series B)
- Remote role: contract to UK or Ireland entity; travel to London for meet-ups 1-2 times per quarter
