twentyAI are partnering with a leading private bank that is seeking a talented Data Management Analyst to join their Chief Data Office. This prestigious organisation has a long-standing reputation for delivering bespoke financial solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families. As part of their continued investment in data excellence, they are looking for an experienced professional to help drive their data governance and management initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business units to define data quality metrics and ensure ongoing monitoring and reporting.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data catalogues.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues by conducting root cause analysis and implementing remediation plans.
  • Assist in data lifecycle management, including classification, retention, and disposal strategies.
  • Facilitate data governance forums and provide clear communication to stakeholders on data governance initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on data management best practices and provide training to teams.
  • Work with IT and risk teams to ensure data security, privacy, and alignment with GDPR and other data protection regulations.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in data governance, data management, or a similar role, ideally within the financial services or private banking sector.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK) and data quality management principles.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar.
  • Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation) and data analysis tools.
  • Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau will be a plus.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Please note, this is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week expected in the office in Central London and is a 12-month FTC.
