WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

As a valued contributor within our Operational Reporting & Insights team, you’ll help design and deliver reporting solutions that support improved colleague experiences and smarter ways of working.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, is eager to build scalable solutions, and is motivated by learning and contributing to meaningful transformation. You’ll play a key role in supporting the team’s technical delivery and helping to embed data-led thinking across Colleague Success.

Within Operational Reporting & Insights, we play a critical role in enabling that mission, translating complex data into actionable insights that drive smarter decisions and more efficient processes. Our team sits at the intersection of operational excellence and transformation, working closely with teams across Colleague Success, wider People & Places and our international colleagues in Hyderabad to shape the future of People Services delivery.

This is a development opportunity to strengthen and advance our Reporting & Insights capabilities, contributing to the design and delivery of robust reporting solutions and analytics frameworks that support strategic decision making and operational excellence across Colleague Success.
You’ll be a key technical contributor to the team, bringing expertise in data tools, automation, and visualisation to deliver high quality outputs that enable others to act with confidence.
The role will be varied, no two days will be the same, and you’ll be concurrently supporting multiple data projects across a range of responsibilities including:
- Reporting Development:Build and maintain scalable reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel (Power Query) to deliver accurate and user-friendly dashboards.
- Product Led Delivery: Contribute to applying product-led thinking to reporting and insights initiatives by supporting user-centric and iterative development processes.
- Platform Optimisation: Support the use of ServiceNow and Workday reporting capabilities by applying native tools and integrations to improve data accessibility.
- Data Engineering & Automation: Help develop and automate data pipelines and transformations using Python, SQL and Google Cloud Platform under guidance to improve process efficiency.
- Insight Generation: Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support operational and strategic goals across Colleague Success
- Data Governance & Quality: Promote good data practices by supporting data quality, governance, and ethical use in line with regulatory standards.
- Support Delivery:Contribute to data initiatives with urgency and efficiency, supporting multiple projects and helping prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Group People Operations, Colleague Success Teams and wider People & Places stakeholders to understand data needs and assist in delivering appropriate solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in identifying opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and analytics capabilities, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
Key Skills Required:
- We’re looking for someone who brings strong technical capability, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for enabling transformation through data. Here are the super strengths that will help you thrive in this role:
Technical & Analytical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Excel (Power Query), Python, SQL and Google Cloud Platform
- Confidence in writing Python scripts to transform data and build/manage data pipelines.
- Ability to work with structured and unstructured datasets to support insight generation and dashboard development under guidance.
- Experience in automating reporting processes and improving data quality and integrity
Platform & Product Knowledge:
- Exposure to ServiceNow and Workday reporting tools, with a desire to build knowledge of their capabilities.
- Understanding of product-led approaches and a willingness to contribute to user-centric, iterative solutions.
Insight & Communication:
- Experience in translating data into clear insights and visualisations with support from senior team members.
- Ability to tailor outputs for different audiences, ensuring clarity, relevance, and impact
Data Governance, Standards & Controls:
- Good understanding of data governance principles and a commitment to learning how to apply standards and controls.
- Commitment to ethical and responsible data use, especially within regulated environments
Delivery & Pace:
- Comfortable supporting multiple initiatives and learning how to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to contribute to initiatives with urgency and efficiency and a focus on continuous improvement.
