We’re on our way to become the first $1 billion Muslim tech brand – but we need your help!Day to dayYou’ll be joining a dynamic data science team whose goal is to grow the company and optimize our products as we expand into new markets around the worldYou’ll be understanding our user behaviour on the platform with a view to generating actionable insights in terms of both product and marketingYou’ll work closely with our product, engineering, marketing and user acquisition teamsYou’ll be a proactive self-starter, driving innovation with a product focusYou’ll be working on our production ML models driving product personalization and recommendationsYou’ll be exploring new ideas and optimization projects, and building MVPs to prove valueYou’ll be diving into a range of data across marketing and product to solve our highest impact and complex challengesYou’ll work alongside the data analysts and data engineer in the data team to clean, transform, and build new datasetsAt least 5+ years of experience in a Data Scientist, Applied Scientist, or a deeply analytical Product-focused roleStrong Python and SQL knowledgeStrong knowledge of common statistical methodsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and presenting to non-technical audiencesCommercial mindset with the ability to harness customer insights to optimise our marketing and productsAbility to work flexibly, be organized and manage multiple projects at the same timeAbility to work collaboratively in cross-functional teamsPassionate about solving complex and challenging data problemsExperience in designing and conducting A/B experimentsNice to haveExperience with recommendation systemsFamiliarity with MLOps tools/practicesExperience in consumer-facing mobile-first productsWhy join Muzz?We’re a profitable Consumer Tech startup, backed by Y Combinator (S17) and based in London .
