Job Description
Join Delta Capita's Data, Technology, and AI (DTA) consulting team as a Director , where your commercial leadership and consulting expertise will shape the next generation of technology-enabled transformation in financial services.
This is a pivotal senior role for a leader who brings deep industry experience, has delivered complex engagements, and is excited to define cutting-edge propositions around AI, automation, data platforms, cloud and other emerging technologies our clients are looking to utilise.
You will be responsible for both practice growth and delivery leadership , owning our go-to-market strategy, leading client engagements, building high-performing teams, and driving revenue across our consulting business. Your remit will span strategic advisory, technical delivery, and cross-functional collaboration, helping clients navigate their most complex data, tech and AI challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and expand Delta Capita's DTA consulting practice, including go-to-market strategy, proposition development, and delivery oversight.
- Drive business development and revenue growth through pipeline creation, proposal leadership, and commercial negotiation.
- Act as a thought leader on data, automation, AI and emerging technologies (e.g. quantum), especially their practical application within financial services.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor and partner in transformation.
- Recruit, lead, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of consultants, data specialists, product owners, and engineers by instilling a culture of innovation, performance, and measurable impact.
- Collaborate with other domains (e.g., transformation, regulatory, client lifecycle management) to build cross-domain solutions and unlock new opportunities.
- Forge partnerships with vendors, fintechs, and academia to enhance capabilities and keep clients ahead of the curve.
- Ensure delivery excellence and regulatory alignment across all engagements, especially in areas like responsible AI and data compliance.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven background in technology and data consulting within Financial services, ideally from a top-tier or specialist firm, with a track record of building or scaling practices.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience shaping large-scale consulting opportunities and delivering profitable outcomes.
- Solid experience in RFPs, commercials, and expanding client opportunities.
- Expertise across data management, AI, automation, cloud platforms, strategy, with an understanding of governance and responsible tech.
- Deep sector knowledge in financial services, including banking, insurance, capital markets, or wealth.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and C-level engagement experience.
- Skilled in building and scaling high-performing teams across consulting, data, and technology functions.

This is a permanent full-time position located in London. Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client's offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client's policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client's now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
