We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Manager to join the Onboarding Calculations Team within our Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) Client Services function. This role is essential in maintaining scheme data, administering and updating individual member records, and handling customer claims efficiently and empathetically. If you have a strong background in Defined Benefit pension schemes and enjoy leading projects and initiatives, we would love to hear from you.

This is a hybrid working opportunity, allowing you to split your week between home and our Glasgow offices to find a work/life balance that suits you.

• Providing technical oversight to the Onboarding Calculations Team
• Checking individual Defined Benefits quotations and issuing communications
• Leading and supporting process improvement projects
• Acting as a Subject Matter Expert and providing technical support
• Supporting team development and coaching
• Producing and analyzing MI to ensure quality customer outcomes
• Collaborating with internal teams to optimize operational delivery
• Facilitating additional activities as required

• Pension qualification such as CII or PMI or equivalent experience
• Detailed understanding of defined benefit pension schemes and regulations
• Experience with manual quotations and complex DB benefit structures
• Ability to solve technical and business problems
• Strong customer focus and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage timescales and prioritize effectively
• Excellent communication skills and team support capabilities
