What You’ll Be Doing
- Achieve and exceed delegate sales targets across a range of conferences and awards.
- Proactively reach out to prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
- Build strong relationships with senior‑level professionals and decision‑makers.
- Understand client needs and match them with relevant event opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales records and pipelines using our CRM system.
- Research new leads, track market trends, and share insights with the wider team.
- Work closely with marketing, sponsorship, and event teams to align sales activity with campaign messaging and event goals.
What You’ll Bring
You’re enthusiastic, persuasive, and motivated by results. You enjoy talking to people, understanding what drives them, and helping them make great decisions.
You enjoy consultative selling and take pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- It’s desirable that you have at least 1 year experience in delegate sales for B2B conferences or events.
- Essential that you have a minimum of 2 years experience in an outbound B2B environment making 50-100+ outbound calls per day.
- A proven record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with senior executives.
- Confidence in negotiation and closing multi‑event deals.
- Great organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Constant Contact, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- A proactive, resilient attitude; you take ownership and make things happen.
- Familiarity with digital and social selling techniques (especially LinkedIn).
Requirements
- Friendly
- Fluent English speaker
- Proficient at using different IT systems including Google G‑Suite
- Willing and able to travel overseas, including the USA
- Commercially aware, strong business acumen
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Self‑motivated and resilient
- Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Open‑minded approach to internal processes, with the ability to suggest improvements
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and Sales Navigator is highly desirable
- Comfortable with meeting challenging KPIs, including high call volumes and talk times.
