Delivery Electrical Project Manager - Bridgwater, UK
About the Role
Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Hybrid, minimum of 3 days onsite, with some flexible working.
Are you a dynamic and driven Project Manager ready to take on a new challenge? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where your organisational skills and stakeholder engagement make a real impact? If you're passionate about delivering excellence and leading with purpose, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Conventional Island Programme Team at Hinkley Point C, one of Europe’s most ambitious infrastructure projects.
As a Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering electrical activities that are critical to the success of the programme. Reporting directly to the Electrical and I&C Lead, you’ll lead with a focus on safety, quality, time, and cost. This is your chance to contribute to a landmark project while developing your career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Pay, benefits and culture
The salary for this role starts from £65,000, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a company pension scheme, and a wide range of flexible benefits to suit your lifestyle.
Benefits include enhanced parental leave, electric vehicle leasing, health insurance, product discounts, critical illness insurance, technology vouchers, gym membership, and season ticket loans.
At EDF UK, we embrace flexibility, supporting collaboration, connection, and comfort whether you're in our office, on site, or working remotely. Our priority is to ensure you feel safe, valued, and celebrated.
We’re committed to fostering an inclusive environment, promoting equity, diversity, and social mobility, and supporting reasonable adjustments during the application process.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be part of the Turbine Halls Multi-Disciplinary Delivery Team, working closely with Tier 1 supply chain partners. Your role involves anticipating challenges, resolving issues, and shaping delivery strategies to ensure a robust schedule for on-site construction and installation.
Working independently in installation areas, you’ll support the Electrical and I&C Lead to deliver the programme while managing its broader impact. You’ll track progress, manage risks, and ensure all activities are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Your leadership will be key to maintaining quality and schedule, overseeing contract administration, and ensuring nuclear safety standards.
You will also liaise with the HPC Site team to ensure delivery aligns with project milestones.
Who you are
You’ll hold a degree in electrical engineering, construction, or a related technical discipline, or have equivalent experience. Your communication and organisational skills are excellent, and you’re skilled at building relationships and networks.
With experience managing contractors and consultants on large, complex projects, ideally in regulated environments, you’re adept at stakeholder engagement, project management, financial control, and risk management. Proficiency with scheduling and risk tools is also important.
You’ve demonstrated success in managing safe systems of work, quality assurance, engineering design, and multi-discipline project delivery. Cost control, risk management, and change management are also within your skill set.
How to apply
If this sounds like your next career move, we’d love to hear from you. The closing date for applications is 25th July 2025.
