Your role and responsibilities
We’re on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Scrum Master / Delivery Lead to spearhead our project management efforts and drive strategic decision-making. As a thought leader, you’ll guide our organization’s transformation and ensure successful project outcomes.
As a Project Manager, you’ll be accountable for ensuring project completion within the specified scope, cost, and timeline while meeting business requirements and contractual obligations. Manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements, including IBM, client employees, and third-party vendors. Establish effective communication plans, deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders, and ensure successful project outcomes.
In this role, you’ll possess familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, strong organizational and time management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
To stand out, experience with project management software, knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework, familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC), and experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment would be advantageous. Responsibilities
Define and implement project management strategies and methodologies across multiple projects and teams.
Mentor and guide junior project managers, fostering a culture of continuous growth and improvement.
Conduct rigorous coaching sessions, upholding project management principles and values, and promoting high-quality project outcomes.
Serve as a key liaison between stakeholders and project teams, translating business requirements into actionable project plans and ensuring successful project execution.
Contribute to the overall project management vision and direction within the organization.
Join our dynamic team and take on the challenge of leading cross-functional teams in delivering exceptional custom development solutions or managing application maintenance and support.
Required technical and professional expertise
Extensive experience in project management and methodologies.
Extensive team leading experience in a variety of different experiences i.e. mixture of on/off shore delivery, rainbow team, staff augmentation, multiple squads virtually and co-located.
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
Demonstratable evidence of strong commercial and financial management experiences.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive organizational change.
Proven experience in leading project management initiatives and projects.
Certified project management certifications i.e. PMI PMP and/or PgMP
