We’re looking for a dynamic Works Delivery Manager to lead our team in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality inspection, maintenance, and renewal projects. About The Role (External)
Step into a key leadership role as a Works Delivery Manager, where you’ll be responsible for driving safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of inspection, maintenance, and renewal projects. You’ll lead and inspire a dedicated team, manage contractors, and ensure every project meets the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and develop your team to achieve performance, safety, and quality goals
- Oversee inspection, maintenance, and renewal works, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and accountability across all activities
Experience, skills, knowledge and competencies
- Experience of managing and directing a team
- Experience of team leadership and development
- Experience of managing the production and delivery of a comprehensive and compliant work programme
- Able to demonstrate, promote and embed safe working behaviours within the team
- Able to lead and implement change and improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to coach, influence and develop others
- Knowledge of buildings construction, buildings management or civil engineering and construction management processes, systems and standards
- Knowledge of budget management and cost/waste control processes and techniques
- Knowledge of the Construction, Design and Management Regulations
- Hold and retain competencies relevant to this post and required by business need
- Ideally hold (or be working towards) an NVQ level 3 or 4 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or have attained the appropriate level of knowledge gained through equivalent relevant experience
- Able and willing to drive vehicles as required by business need
What you’ll earn
Salary: £43,588 - £51,719 Band 4C
