Delivery Lead - Supply Chain (CPG)
Contract Opportunity:
Location:Southampton (Client Office) - Hybrid model
- For the first 3-4 months, candidates will be required to work from the office 3-4 days a week.
- Post that period, they can transition to working from the office 1-2 days a week.
About the Role
A leading consultancy is seeking experienced Delivery Leads to support a high-impact supply chain transformation project within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on planning, logistics, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage large-scale supply chain teams (50-100 people) across planning, logistics, and new product introduction (NPI).
Identify and resolve complex operational challenges with structured, data-driven decision-making.
Define and approve planning strategies: segmentation, inventory policies, parameter automation.
Oversee E2E synchronized supply chain planning for assigned categories.
Use scenario planning and dashboard monitoring to ensure optimal service, cost, and inventory balance.
Drive continuous improvement using tools like Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Agile frameworks.
Own and ensure accuracy of all planning-related Master Data across systems.
Depending on scope, take ownership of Distribution & Inventory or Master Planning functions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
7-10 years of hands-on experience in supply chain management within FMCG or Consumer Electronics
Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional, diverse teams
Strong working knowledge of ERP and planning systems (eg, SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis)
Expertise in:
IWS, CI tools, Lean/Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred)
FMEZ, SIPOC, Fishbone, and other root cause analysis tools
End-to-end supply chain synchronization
Strong analytical, digital, and communication skills
Background in manufacturing or commercial functions is a plus
