Job Description

We are seeking a Deputy Finance Lead to support the Finance Manager in ensuring optimal performance across the team and the company.

The successful candidate will work closely with managers, team leaders, and project group managers to ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements. Key responsibilities include:

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts, provide justification for expenditure variances.
• Financial Reporting: Report monthly fleet costs and invoices, report to Finance Manager, liaise with auditors regarding accounting practices.
• Compliance & Controls: Provide financial support and guidance to internal departments, maintain the costs reporting system.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Provide support to fleet payroll functions, collaborate with external parties.
• System & Process improvement: Maintain the costs reporting system, provide guidance on financial costs and authorization procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or qualification by experience, a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, knowledge of financial software, and excellent finance functional skills.
