Their large but focused footprint gives an established position in Europe plus a significant presence in the Americas and Asia Pacific.‘Together we’re sharing new perspectives and transforming what it means to be a bank.’Key ResponsibilitiesThe Lead Principal Auditor leads or works independently on audits of a specific business/functional area/region, and evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls relating to risks within those business areas.They will proactively develop and maintain professional consultative working relationships within their own function and with stakeholders inside and outside the bank and respective support areas. They will use a range of approaches to collect relevant information to assess key risks, resolve major issues or carry out tasks.Leading QA reviews (cold and ‘real-time’) of large, complex audit files and findings closures for compliance with methodology and appropriateness of risk coverageLeading large and complex QA Finding Validation reviewsPerform projects and special assignments, as requiredTake matters in hand when required (e.g. urgent ad hoc requests)Working in partnership with GA management and professional practice teamSkills and QualificationsThe applicant must have experience in a lead Internal Audit role covering financial services topics and reviewing audit work (Internal Audit Quality Assurance experience preferred)Expertise in either of the following SME areas a plus:Investment Bank / MarketsInformation TechnologyModelsStrong understanding of audit process and methodologyTeam working capabilities and the ability to build business and team relationshipsExperience in advising stakeholders, a plus if from across locationsCIA professional certification preferredDeutsche Bank’s values define the working environment they strive to create – diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
