We are seeking a Deputy Principal Educational Psychologist to lead our growing Educational Psychology Service (EPS). This full‑time, permanent position is part of our expanding establishment and offers an opportunity to shape a high‑quality, statutory service.

Our Team

Nottinghamshire EPS uses a strength‑based, collaborative and consultative delivery model. We promote social inclusion and social justice for all children and young people, especially those in the most vulnerable situations. We also deliver training, research and project work to promote early intervention and high‑quality support and CPD across a range of education and social care settings.

What We Are Looking For

  • A dynamic individual who is keen to join a collaborative leadership team.
  • Someone who can offer leadership, support and guidance to our educational psychology teams and senior leadership.
  • Someone with strong personal resilience and the ability to make decisions and facilitate problem‑solving in complex situations.
  • Strong application of psychology to support the inclusion of children in vulnerable situations including children with SEND, children in care, previously in care and children with a social worker, children at risk of exclusion from education and children involved in the youth justice system.
