Job Description

Help shape the future of national security compliance. Working closely with the UK Security Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our people, data, and operations meet and exceed Government Agency requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional to apply their expertise in a dynamic, future-focused organisation.

Your Impact

  • Support and deputise for the UK Security Controller on all UK Government-related security matters.
  • Lead and advise internal teams on personnel, physical, and information security compliance.
  • Oversee the secure handling, storage, and auditing of classified documentation, ensuring alignment with the UK Security Policy Framework.
  • Manage and process BPSS and NSV security clearances.
  • Build strong working relationships with Government agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct internal audits, investigations, and supplier compliance checks.
  • Develop and maintain security education and awareness programs.
  • Keep policies and processes aligned with changing legislation and government guidance.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in a professional security role within a high-compliance, government, or defence environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Government Agency security standards (SPF, JSP, IPSA etc.).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with sound problem-solving capabilities.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage sensitive or confidential matters with discretion.
  • Sole British Nationality and eligibility for SC security clearance.
