This role combines hands-on design leadership with operational oversight, ensuring the team delivers high-quality, efficient digital experiences across web, mobile, and emerging channels. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the overarching design strategy in alignment with business priorities. Maintain consistency, accessibility, and excellence across all digital touchpoints. Introduce AI and data-driven practices to streamline design workflows and enhance insight. Expand and optimise design systems, operational frameworks, and performance metrics. Coach and grow senior design managers and individual contributors. Drive measurable outcomes from design initiatives, including conversion, retention, and operational efficiency. Advise leadership on strategic decisions and resource allocation. Oversee design budgets and manage vendor relationships for optimal results.

Candidate Profile:

Extensive experience (10+ years) in product or UX design, including leadership of multi-disciplinary teams (5+ years) in high-volume consumer tech or e-commerce environments. Proven experience designing and delivering mobile app experiences alongside web platforms. Demonstrated ability to deliver design-led initiatives that produce measurable business impact. Strong expertise in service design, visual and interaction design, accessibility, and design systems. Skilled in scaling teams, processes, and design operations within fast-growing businesses. Confident and persuasive leader capable of influencing at all organisational levels.
