We have an exciting relocation opportunity available for this client, as we appoint a Design and Engineering Delivery Manager to act as a key link between their UK Transmission & Distribution business, and their Design and Engineering team in Sri Lanka. This role is based in Sri Lanka.

This is a vital role as our client look to grow their offering to the UK Energy sector. As such my client are looking for an experienced Design/Engineering Manager, with a strong background in Substation design, particularly Protection & Control System design, throughout the UK, who is open to a move to Sri Lanka to head up their design and engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for the design and engineering function of the business in line with business goals, working with the General Manager.
• Lead and develop a high performing business unit.
• Take ownership of design governance.
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement.
• Act as the key link between the business in the UK and Sri Lanka.

Qualifications

• Strong background and experience in Substation design, ideally Protection & Control Systems.
• Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering disciplines.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate high performing teams, globally.
