Developer (React/ Node)

6+ months

£600 per day (Outside IR35)

2/3 days per month on site in London

Cloud Bridge are looking for an AWS Developer to join us working on project for a long standing customer in the financial service sector who are building out new parts to their AWS platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end features using React (with hooks and modern practices).
• Build and optimise backend services with Node.js (Express, REST APIs, microservices).
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver features end-to-end.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Contribute to technical discussions and help shape best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with React (hooks, state management, performance optimisation).
• Solid knowledge of Node.js, including REST APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) is a bonus.
• Experience working with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Strong understanding of Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
