Developer Relations / Developer Advocate

New Today

Graftcode Greater London, England, United Kingdom

Location: London / Remote

Employment: Full-time

Graftcode is revolutionizing how developers build and integrate software. We simplify traditional API and integration layers (like REST or gRPC), allowing developers to integrate any external service or module - written in any language - with a single command and call it locally with strong typing and compile-time safety.

This approach also empowers AI-assisted development, enables a monolith-to-microservice transition with a single configuration change, and reduces boilerplate integration code by up to 30%.

We’re building the new industry standard for distributed systems and modern software architecture - on a path to becoming the next Unicorn.

The Mission

We’re looking for a community-focused Developer Advocate who will be the bridge between Graftcode and the global developer community - someone who truly understands code, architecture, and people.

You’ll help shape how developers discover, adopt, and talk about problems that Graftcode solves. You’ll inspire them and grow our presence at conferences and meetups, and collaborate with internal teams to create compelling educational content.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the face of new software integration approach at meetups, conferences, and hackathons around the world.
  • Build relationships with developer communities, influencers, and open-source contributors.
  • Create engaging technical content - videos, demos, tutorials, live coding sessions, podcasts, interviews and talks that show how teams can transform software integrations in their projects.
  • Collaborate with our internal content team (3 experts in marketing, writing, and developer experience) to design impactful campaigns and educational resources.
  • Collaborate closely with our CTO and engineering team to stay ahead of the latest product developments and be ready to discuss them with developers.
  • Collect and relay feedback from the community to help shape Graftcode’s roadmap and developer experience.
  • Advocate for simplicity, cross-technology creativity, and paradigm shift increasing productivity in modern software development.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in Developer Advocacy, Developer Relations, or a similar public-facing developer role.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Mobile/Web to Cloud integration
    • Microservices and modern development patterns
    • AI/MCP integration
  • Good coding skills in C#, Java, Python, or similar languages - ideally across multiple stacks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrable comfort in public speaking and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Passion for developer communities, content creation, and storytelling.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for public speaking, networking, and connecting with people.
  • Willingness to travel to global IT hubs for conferences, events, meetups and workshops.

You’ll Love This Role If You

  • Want to inspire developers and shape the way they think about cloud development, integrations and architecture.
  • Believe that tools and AI can simplify engineering and let developers focus on creativity, not boilerplate.
  • Enjoy being at the intersection of technology, education, and community.
  • Like working with a visionary, supportive team that values creativity, innovation, and simplicity.
  • Be part of a fast-moving startup with moon-shot ambitions.
  • Global travel opportunities (fully covered) to tech events and conferences.
  • Collaboration with a high-energy, expert team of engineers and communicators.
  • Access to the latest tools for content creation and developer engagement.
  • Flexible, remote-first work setup.
  • Competitive compensation.
  • Stock options program for Developer Advocate who delivers measurable community and adoption impact.
