Overview

Azure DevOps Engineer — DevOps Engineer for a Fintech Startup in London (Remote/Hybrid, 1 day per month in the office).

This role involves joining an ambitious Fintech startup to work on a technically challenging project and participate in the creation of a new application from scratch. The product aims to transform private wealth management with an individualized, scalable asset management framework.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions using Azure, AKS, Docker, Terraform, GitHub, and related technologies.
• Collaborate within a DevOps environment to enable CI/CD pipelines and efficient software delivery (dotnet/C#, Linux/Windows).
• Support the design, implementation, and operation of infrastructure and application services in Azure, including PaaS components and containerized workloads.
• Engage with the team on technical challenges and drive continuous improvement in deployment, monitoring, and reliability.
• Work on building a new application from scratch as part of a fast-growing Fintech initiative.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, pipelines).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with .NET, C#, and application deployment in cloud environments.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills; willingness to learn and fill gaps with training as needed.

Salary: £60-75K + Bonus + Pension + Benefits
