We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our clients Azure-based container infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in enabling continuous integration and delivery, ensuring system reliability, and embedding security best practices across a greenfield technology platform.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in cloud-native environments, understands the nuances of container orchestration, and is passionate about automation, scalability, and secure delivery.

Key Outcomes

  • Deliver and maintain a secure, scalable Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environment.
  • Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for containerised workloads.
  • Ensure compliance with cloud security policies and access controls.
  • Support containerisation of legacy applications and new services.
  • Enable monitoring, alerting, and incident response for container workloads.
  • Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and team knowledge sharing.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience with Azure cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on expertise with:
  • Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates)
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD automation.
  • Experience with secure cloud architecture and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
  • Experience with Azure Arc for hybrid/multi-cluster scenarios
  • Familiarity with container-native security and governance tools
  • Exposure to regulated environments

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Azure cloud environments and container orchestration.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates).
  • Understanding of cloud security, governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong communication and ability to mentor others.
  • Experience with Azure Arc and hybrid/multi-cluster scenarios is a plus.
