Overview In this role, you will design, implement, and optimise infrastructure solutions that underpin some of the UK's most important systems. You will take ownership of automating processes, ensuring system reliability, and contributing to continuous delivery pipelines. Working closely with developers and testers, you will troubleshoot issues, validate configurations, and enhance deployment workflows. Key Responsibilities

Build & Automate: Design and maintain infrastructure systems using DevOps best practices. Enhance & Secure: Implement Infrastructure as Code and ensure environments meet security standards. Troubleshoot & Resolve: Collaborate with teams to identify and fix technical issues efficiently. Assure & Deliver: Support quality assurance and deployment into Kubernetes and Puppet environments. Collaborate & Adapt: Participate in agile processes to prioritise and deliver high‑impact solutions.

Required Experience

Kubernetes, Argo, Rancher Linux administration, RPM/Yum Puppet or similar Infrastructure as Code tools

Desirable Skills

Programming/Development: Java, Go Scripting: Python, Bash Source control tools: Git, SVN
