Overview

Our client is a leading SaaS and technology company, building innovative solutions for Data Management, Analytics and Machine Learning. They’re looking to hire an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong experience across Linux, AWS, Ansible and Packer.

Contract: 2 days a week in the office (hybrid), initial 6 months, inside IR35, paying up to £600 per day.

Responsibilities

From day one you’ll be involved in the design, build, implementation and support of innovative Linux systems with a focus on availability, performance, reliability, and security — from bare-metal through to virtualization, AWS Cloud and automation.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of projects, tools and technologies and have real ownership of your work – a very varied challenge!

Requirements

• Proven experience of Linux administration and engineering
• Great understanding of RPM packaging, systems, networking and storage
• Great knowledge of Ansible and DevOps methods
• Excellent communication skills and a motivated, proactive approach to work
• The ability to take the lead on work and drive projects forwards
