DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have enterprise experience developing and maintaining IaC (Terraform). Deploying containerised microservices to AKS using ArgoCD, and GitHub Runners.

Responsibilities

  • Create new and maintain existing GitHub Actions running on self-hosted runners.
  • Work with development teams deploying microservices to Kubernetes clusters.
  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (Azure).
  • Maintain several AKS clusters that make up the Internal Development Platform.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and processes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a Cloud hosted DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineer role or related field.
  • Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure, with demonstrable ability to deliver secure network infrastructure through zero-trust principles.
  • Strong understanding of encryption techniques (GPG / TLS certificates).
  • Strong experience with writing and refactoring Terraform.
  • Strong Linux administration using WSL2.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools: Helm, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of Authentication and Authorization approaches using Azure Entra.
  • Strong knowledge of GitHub Actions.
  • Strong Bash scripting and experience maintaining configuration YAML files.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki.
  • Experience with package management tools such as NuGet, Maven, or npm.
