Overview

We are working with a leading Financial Trading company seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their expanding platform/DevOps team from the Holborn, London office. You should have strong cloud knowledge (AWS preferred, GCP considered) and be experienced with Kubernetes and Python. You will be a self-starter with excellent stakeholder management experience and the ability to deliver outcome-based work.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Developers and Testers as part of a squad to deliver end-to-end DevOps solutions.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure with AWS or GCP, including deployment, automation, and monitoring.
  • Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters and related tooling.
  • Develop automation and tooling in Python to improve CI/CD pipelines and operational efficiency.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into shippable outcomes.
  • Occasional office attendance: 2-3 days per week at the Holborn location.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of AWS or GCP.
  • Working experience with Kubernetes.
  • Python experience.
  • Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.

Location and Compensation

Location: London, Holborn office (3 days per week on-site).

Salary: £100,000 – £120,000 per year.
