DevSecOps Engineer – FinTech | Secure SDLC | London Hybrid

We’re working with a high-growth FinTech who are scaling their engineering teams and embedding security at the heart of their platform. They’re looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to drive secure development practices, threat modeling, and integrated security tooling across their web and mobile products.

This is a chance to have a direct impact on products used globally, while shaping the company’s secure development lifecycle and building best-in-class security standards.

The Role

• Embed security across the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines following DevSecOps principles
• Conduct code reviews and implement automated security testing (SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA)
• Lead threat modeling sessions and document risk assessments
• Establish security architecture patterns, guidelines, and libraries
• Build and maintain security tooling, dashboards, and developer enablement programs
• Provide training and guidance to engineers on secure coding practices

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience in application or product security
• Deep understanding of vulnerabilities across web, mobile, and APIs
• Experience implementing security tools into development workflows
• Knowledge of OWASP standards (Top 10, ASVS, MASVS, SAMM)
• Strong grasp of authentication standards (OAuth2, OIDC, WebAuthn)
• Background in financial services or other high-security environments is a plus
• Experience in FinTech or payment systems security
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, PSD2, or Strong Customer Authentication
• Building security champions programs
• Mobile app protection or penetration testing background
• Salary up to £100K DOE
• Hybrid working: 4 days in the London office, 1 from home
