The vacancy Role: Digital Advertising Executive - Head Office Location: Bournemouth Reference: HOB1153472 Closing Date: 05/12/2025 Digital Advertising Executive: Affiliates & Paid Social (£30k per annum) This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours. Our core business hours are Monday to Friday – 10am to 3pm with a flexible approach to start and finish times. Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home. We are recruiting for a Digital Advertising Executive, with key focus on continuing to build on the recent launch of an exciting new Affiliate program, to join the Digital Marketing team at our Head Office in Christchurch, Dorset. You’ll be working for the UK’s biggest hobbies and craft retailer with 108 stores and a strong and developing digital presence. This is a fast paced and creative environment, where you will need strong self-awareness, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the flexibility to face challenges and adapt plans as they arise. About The Role This pivotal role will focus on managing and growing our new Affiliate marketing program as a key performance channel within the wider marketing mix. You’ll work closely with the Head of Digital Marketing, our affiliate agency, and cross-functional teams including Content Marketing (PR/influencers), eCommerce, and Trade, to ensure affiliate partnerships deliver measurable growth. This role is ideal for someone with a strong grounding in affiliate marketing, who is ready to take on more ownership and drive initiatives end-to-end – from strategy to execution. You’ll also contribute to other channels within the digital marketing mix, including Paid Social and Paid Search, providing broad exposure to a high-performing, performance-focused digital team. Key Responsibilities
Affiliate Marketing Leadership Collaborate with the Head of Digital Marketing and our Affiliate agency to develop an Affiliate marketing program Own day‑to‑day Affiliate program operations: working with the agency to align business priorities with strategic recommendations, partner recruitment, activation, performance tracking, and optimisation Build and nurture relationships with key Affiliate partners and networks to drive revenue growth Analyse Affiliate performance and report on KPIs including ROI, conversion rates, and incremental sales Cross‑Functional Collaboration Coordinate with the Content, PR and Influencer teams to align affiliate activity with broader marketing campaigns Work with Product, Trade, and eCommerce teams to align messaging and offers across key marketing channels Support Paid Media Execution Assist the Digital Advertising Manager in running Paid Social campaigns, including planning, execution, and performance monitoring Leverage PPC insights and audience data to inform affiliate targeting and vice versa App Store Optimisation (ASO) Manage ASO initiatives in collaboration with eCom product and development and Trading teams to enhance app visibility and downloads (experienced preferable but not essential) General & Ad Hoc Marketing Support Take on additional performance marketing initiatives as needed, with opportunities to grow into a broader digital marketing role over time
Requirements
Min. 1–2 years of hands‑on experience working with Affiliate networks/platforms and agencies Highly motivated and results‑driven individual, with demonstrated success in managing or launching Affiliate programs and other paid media campaigns Familiarity with Paid Social (Meta, TikTok) and a working knowledge of PPC desirable Adaptable, results‑oriented, data‑driven and strategic approach, delivering continuous improvement, demonstrating a growth mindset Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive internal and external relationships A proactive self‑starter who’s excited by performance‑driven growth and digital innovation
