We’re looking for a Digital Analytics & Tagging Specialist who is equally comfortable defining and implementing a data layer as they are exploring data to resolve complex business problems and explain insights to product teams.

You'll make sure our digital journeys are measured correctly, but more importantly, you’ll use that data to unpack the why, delivering impactful insights and shaping how we build and improve our products.

You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, CRO specialists, and E-commerce teams in a consultative approach to ensure every feature, campaign, and journey is tagged, tracked, and understood.

This is a hybrid role, with occasional work in our London office around once a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers to implement and validate tagging across our website and app using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics (GA4).
  • Review and troubleshoot tracking issues to ensure events and data layers capture what matters most.
  • Adopt a consultative approach with CRO, Digital Product, and E-commerce teams to define tracking requirements, measure test results, and provide deep‑dive root cause analysis on performance.
  • Manage and guide complex analytical projects, such as customer journey analysis, segmentation, or root cause analysis, to explain what’s working, what’s not, and why.
  • Use visualization tools (Tableau, Looker) to deliver insights and recommendations in a clear, relevant, and action‑oriented manner.
  • Pull together insights from multiple sources – GA4, Tableau, heatmaps, session recordings – to build cohesive performance stories.
  • Share findings with Product Managers and senior stakeholders, translating complex data into simple actions.
  • Keep an eye on privacy, consent frameworks, and tagging best practice to maintain data integrity.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4), with a strong understanding of event‑based tracking, data layers, and tagging structures for web and app.
  • Advanced SQL and strong experience with BigQuery and Databricks.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools, preferably Tableau or Looker.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis is a strong plus.
  • Experience with advanced analytics techniques, such as segmentation, and familiarity with A/B testing tools and CRO analysis.
  • Experience with Git (or similar) for collaborative development is desirable.
  • Skilled at data storytelling and presenting to technical and non‑technical teams.

Benefits and Salary

Salary: Negotiable. Start date: ASAP.

We offer 26 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous pension, life cover, bonus opportunities, and access to 20 flexible benefits with tax/NI savings. The role is part of an award‑winning workplace that is named a Sunday Times Best Place to Work 2025 and the Best Place to Work for 16‑34‑year‑olds.

Location
