Description
Do you have experience working with video content and systems? If so, we want to hear from you. Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity are hiring for a Digital Asset Management Coordinator for a 6-month fixed term contract. We’re moving our huge library of video footage, audio files, and motion graphics to a brand-new cloud-based asset management system and we need a meticulous and tech savvy individual to help make it happen. We believe in the power of storytelling to inspire support and make a difference for seriously ill children. Our video content touches every part of the charity and is used on a broad number of channels - from digital ads on our social channels to short documentary films that are shown at our gala events, from campaign launch films to digital billboards - we put children and families at the heart of our work with everything we do.
The salary for this position is £28,751 pro rata and we operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. This position is a 6 month FTC. In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with our Senior Filmmaker and Senior Film Producer to organise, upload, and log our existing library of video content, audio recordings, and graphics into our new asset management system.
- Adding metadata and tags so every clip is searchable and easy to find.
- Setting up new workflows for ingesting footage from shoots and integrating seamlessly with Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Supporting the team by gathering and preparing assets for video edits.
- Making sure our media archive is future-proof, efficient, and easy to use for the whole team
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience working with a digital asset management system (Iconik experience is a bonus, but not essential).
- Experience in data wrangling.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- An understanding of post-production workflows and editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro).
- The ability to handle large volumes of media and keep everything organised to a high standard.
- Great communication skills and the ability to work closely with creative colleagues.
This role is ideal for someone with previous archiving and/or data wrangling experience who is organised, systems driven and comfortable organising large volumes of footage and other digital assets. Some of our footage is highly sensitive and does involve children and surgery. A DBS is required for this role.
