Job Description:

Every day our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals.

Grant Thornton’s Digital Asset Recovery Team (DART) combines an international asset recovery capability with market-leading technologies to provide an end-to-end full-service approach for digital asset recovery. DARTcombines blockchain analytics with corporate intelligence and digital forensic techniques to conduct investigations; as well as insolvency proceedings, court-appointed receiverships and other civil procedures to formulate legal claims and enforce judgements, and also to ensure the orderly wind-downs of companies operating in the digital asset sector.

We help litigators, individual and corporate clients with challenging situations arising from fraud and financial crime, disputes and litigation. Our expertise includes blockchain analytics and expert witness services, insolvency and liquidations of organisations in this sector, and the international enforcement of judgments and awards.

In recent years, the team has worked on some significant and high-profile assignments, including Bittrex Global Bermuda Limited, Law vs Persons Unknown, James Asset PTE Ltd (for MakerDAO) and Dappbase Limited (a subsidiary of FTX), and working closely with Law enforcement and specialist lawyers to secure a full recovery for the victim of fraud through the recently enacted s.303Z51 POCA, as well as a number of confidential engagements across the digital assets sector.

You will work as part of a diverse team who are passionate about understanding the issues that are important to our clients. The constantly evolving sector landscape calls for a proactive approach, so you will need to support the wider team in giving clients the assurance they need to support them through challenging periods of their lifecycle.

Whilst there are London office attendance requirements, we’re happy to talk flexible working and consider reduced hours and job shares, we’ll support you to balance your work and life.
