Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Digital & Computing Curriculum Manageron a 3 months contract initially with a possibility of further extension.

Curriculum Development: Designing and implementing a dynamic digital curriculum aligned with industry standards.
Learner Progression: Tracking, monitoring, and supporting learners to achieve high success rates.
Teaching & Assessment: Delivering engaging teaching sessions and assessments to support learner development.
Team Leadership: Managing and motivating a team of educators, ensuring high-quality delivery and professional development.
Safeguarding & Compliance: Ensuring safeguarding legislation is effectively applied within the learning environment.
Equity & Inclusion: Embedding principles of diversity and inclusion across all aspects of the curriculum and teaching.

A teaching and learning qualification at Level 5.
A degree or professional qualification in a Digital or Computing subject.
Level 2 English and Numeracy (or equivalent).
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft 365 and related applications.
Experience in curriculum development within a post-16 education environment.
A proven ability to track and monitor learners to support outstanding outcomes.
A strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and its application in education.
Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
An IQA or other Assessor/Internal Verifier qualification.
Previous experience in a similar leadership role within further or adult education.
