EXTEND SCHEME
This role is advertised as part of our BBC Extend programme for disabled people. Join BBC Studios’ award-winning Digital Brands division to help shape content that connects iconic franchises with global audiences. As a Digital Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in publishing and optimising social and video content across platforms, ensuring it’s audience-focused, brand-aligned, and performance-driven. Your work will support seamless workflows and contribute to the growth of social audiences and video revenue.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
- Content Planning & Workflow Coordination: Support content scheduling, calendar updates, and agile resourcing and assist with workflow execution across teams and maintain publishing tools.
- Content Creation & Publishing: Create and edit reactive content using Photoshop and Premiere Pro, helping to write platform-specific copy and publish localised content.
- Platform & Audience Expertise: Understand key platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and audience behaviours and align content with brand identity and stay current on trends and fandom culture.
- Compliance & Rights Management: Ensure all content meets compliance and rights standards.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimisation: Track performance, analyse data, and refine strategies and run A/B tests and benchmark against similar channels.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Proficiency in basic editing tools like Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, or equivalent software.
- Experience in uploading and scheduling video content.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail for maintaining content calendars and ensuring timely uploads.
- Interest in digital content trends and audience engagement strategies on YouTube.
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Experience in content creation and creativity within a digital space.
- An ability to develop content ideas.
- Strong copywriting and subbing skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to business needs.
