About the Role
As Digital Design Manager at Abbott Lyon, you’ll be the creative lead driving the visual identity of our brand across all digital touchpoints. You’ll deliver high‑impact design that reflects our premium, on‑trend lifestyle brand and inspires and converts.
Key Responsibilities
- Guardian of the Abbott Lyon brand identity – ensure consistency, creativity and relevance across all digital channels.
- Collaborate with the Head of Creative to execute campaigns and content concepts aligned with the overall creative vision.
- Introduce forward‑thinking design trends and elevate visual storytelling.
- Lead concept development and creative execution across marketing campaigns, day‑to‑day content and digital outputs.
- Direct high‑profile projects from ideation through delivery, ensuring alignment with brand DNA and audience expectations.
- Oversee day‑to‑day workflow of the design team, delivering assets on time, on brand and to the highest standard.
- Prioritise and allocate work efficiently across projects, managing tight timelines and multiple stakeholders.
- Mentor and lead a growing design team, supporting personal development and creative confidence.
- Provide regular constructive feedback and maintain brand standards.
- Present creative concepts to senior stakeholders and adapt to feedback while staying true to creative vision.
- Partner with eCommerce, marketing, influencer and product teams to align creative outputs with business goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or equivalent in Digital Design, Digital Media, UX/UI or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a digital design role, including 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven portfolio of digital‑first design across fashion, lifestyle, beauty or similar fast‑paced consumer brands.
- Experience managing creative workflows in a dynamic, multi‑stakeholder environment.
Skills & Abilities
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma.
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX, responsive design and mobile‑first principles.
- High level of creative execution—from typography and layout to motion and digital storytelling.
- Natural team leader, collaborative mindset, ability to inspire and bring out the best in others.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – pitch and defend ideas confidently.
- Strong understanding of digital trends, social‑first design, and influencer‑driven content.
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana).
