Digital Learning Consultant – FTC 6 months

We are seeking an experienced Digital Learning Consultant to support the development and optimisation of eLearning content across our firm. This role is ideal for a specialist with a strong background in instructional design, SCORM compliance, and hands‑on experience with Articulate Storyline and Rise. We're open to engaging the right person on either a freelance day‑rate basis or a fixed‑term contract, depending on preference and availability.

Role Structure: You’ll report to the Senior Manager, L&D, and work closely with the wider L&D team, LMS administrator, technical leads, and subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality eLearning modules using Articulate Storyline and Rise
  • Ensure all content is SCORM‑compliant and fully compatible with our LMS
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex content into engaging digital learning experiences
  • Provide expert guidance on instructional design best practices
  • Conduct thorough testing and QA across platforms and devices
  • Review and troubleshoot existing SCORM packages for compatibility and performance
  • Support LMS integration and provide documentation as needed

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven expertise with Articulate Storyline and Rise
  • In‑depth understanding of SCORM standards and LMS integration
  • Strong background in instructional design or digital learning development
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
  • Clear communicator, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Experience designing scalable, modular eLearning templates
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Desirable

  • Experience with xAPI or other eLearning tracking standards
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG 2.1)
  • Prior experience in corporate or compliance training environments
  • Knowledge of video production or microlearning techniques (nice to have)

  • This is a national role; you can be based at any of our UK offices and work on an agile basis
