We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Digital & Social Media Account Director to join a leading international consultancy on an interim basis. This role is perfect for an ambitious, organised and motivated individual who thrives on delivering innovative campaigns and staying ahead of social media trends. You’ll need to be available immediately and able to spend circa 2x days per week in a central London office.
In this assignment, you’ll play a leading role in managing digital and social media activity across a portfolio of major accounts. From paid campaign management and social strategy development to community engagement and data reporting, this is the sort of interim role that offers a chance to make a real impact across high-profile clients. You’ll be comfortable navigating consumer brands and corporate environments alike.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading digital & social media campaigns across multiple platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube
- Developing and executing social strategies that amplify PR and creative ideas
- Working with an in-house creative studio to produce engaging, on-brand content
- Managing paid campaigns end-to-end, from planning through to reporting
- Overseeing influencer partnerships, from identification to activation
- Monitoring social trends and translating them into campaign opportunities
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients on social and digital initiatives
- Analysing performance data, providing insights and optimising campaigns
Skills and Experience We’re Looking For
- Strong copywriting skills with a flair for social-first content creation
- Deep knowledge of social media culture, trends and platform updates
- Proven experience in paid social campaigns and best practice, particularly on LinkedIn
- Background in leading digital or social media projects within agencies or in-house teams
- Proficiency in social media management tools, scheduling, community management and reporting
- Excellent client-facing and project management skills
- Strong analytical ability with experience in data-led reporting
- Understanding of influencer marketing, including talent sourcing and campaign execution
- Passion for social media, culture and emerging platforms
