Job Overview
Role Introduction / Overview: Enterprise Services and Public Affairs seeks to enhance and protect the reputation of Citi, its businesses and the brand through direct and indirect communication with Citi's stakeholders, including colleagues. The Communications team covers a broad scope of responsibilities, from executive communications and public engagements to quarterly earnings and corporate reputation programs, as well as communications that support our lines of business. The team acts as company spokespeople to media, drives engagement with colleagues, and develops external and internal digital communications for a global workforce of more than 200,000 colleagues. The team collaborates with senior leadership and other Enterprise Services and Public Affairs teams across the world.

Role: The Digital & Social Media Manager - Vice President is a key member of the Communications team within Enterprise Services and Public Affairs. You will work with senior leadership and partners across Global Communications to support reputation management and drive engagement on Citi's social media and digital channels. The role involves content management and development, process management, measurement, and social listening, and requires collaboration across team functions to support broader goals.
What you'll do
- In partnership with the Head of Digital Content and Social Media, develop and drive Citi's social media and digital content strategy
- Advance Citi's core communications goals across social and digital channels
- Develop content and strategies to support core social media campaigns across corporate and executive channels
- Manage Citigroup.com content, liaising with technology and stakeholders to update content, support initiatives, and execute campaigns
- Lead day-to-day reputation management on social media using social listening tools
- Coordinate content scheduling and publishing across corporate channels with internal stakeholders
- Provide guidance on content distribution
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create custom web experiences around key events and activations
- Source and develop creative assets for use across channels, partnering with creative and media teams
- Support digital and social media elements of live events with PR, production and digital teams
- Use metrics and monitoring to continually improve Citi's social media and web presence
- Stay informed about trends and opportunities in social and digital spaces
- Maintain brand voice consistency across units and activations
- Advise Communications leadership on ongoing work and opportunities
- Assess risk and drive compliance with laws and regulations, safeguarding Citi and its assets, escalating control issues as needed
What We'll Need From You
- Knowledge of communications or marketing with increasing responsibility, preferably in a large organization
- Extensive knowledge of social media channels and platforms
- Ability to distill complex topics into clear digital content
- Ability to develop compelling content for internal and external audiences
- Ability to adapt content across channels
- Subject-matter expertise in social media trends
- Strong grasp of social listening and issues management
- Experience collaborating with technical roles
- Knowledge of SEO and Generative SEO fundamentals
- Familiarity with content management tools such as Sprinklr
- Comfort with AI tools and their application to Communications
- Strong attention to detail and project leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to influence senior executives

Education
- Bachelor's degree in business management, communications, marketing or related field
