Digital Tagging & Implementation Lead – Tealium. Location: Hybrid (London, Corby, Manchester). Contract Type: Fixed-Term (12 Months).

Join RS Group’s digital transformation journey as a Digital Tagging & Implementation Lead – Tealium, where you'll lead the evolution of our server-side tagging capabilities across a global digital estate. This is a critical, high-impact role driving accurate data collection, marketing efficiency, and regulatory compliance at scale.

Responsibilities

• Designing and deploying a scalable, group-wide server-side tagging architecture using Tealium.
• Leading tagging strategies that enhance performance marketing, conversion tracking, and campaign attribution.
• Implementing robust analytics tagging to support key measurement frameworks and data collection.
• Ensuring privacy-first tagging practices that comply with global cookie and data protection regulations.
• Collaborating with internal teams (marketing, engineering, product, analytics) to deliver tailored, future-proof solutions.
• Partnering with vendors to ensure optimal use of martech tools and tag performance.
• Prioritising tagging implementation backlogs, resolving technical issues, and maintaining data quality and trust.
• Managing incident response related to tagging/data discrepancies and driving root cause resolution.

About You

You’re a hands-on tagging expert who combines technical know-how with strategic insight. You enjoy solving complex challenges, thrive in cross-functional environments, and can confidently translate business needs into clean, scalable technical solutions. You’re well-versed in Tealium and understand the critical role tagging plays in digital marketing, analytics, and compliance.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience with server-side tagging implementation, ideally using Tealium EventStream and Tealium iQ.
• Familiarity with tag management systems like Adobe Launch, Ensighten, or Google Tag Manager.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, RegEx, JSON, jQuery, and API integrations (SOAP & REST).
• Experience working with digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and ContentSquare.
• Understanding of martech ecosystems including Google Campaign Manager and experimentation/personalisation platforms.
• Confidence gathering business requirements and translating them into tailored tagging solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• A structured and thorough approach to QA, testing, and documentation.
