We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Digital Transformation Testing and Training Operational Team Manager to join our progressive and forward-thinking team. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and enhancing service delivery through the development and implementation of effective training and testing initiatives.
Applicants should have a strong understanding of NHS practices and demonstrate the ability to identify and implement innovative technological solutions that support improved service outcomes and patient care. The postholder will be responsible for overseeing the training & testing of IT and clinical systems, including Rio, OxCare, eObs, eMeds, as well as emerging technologies such as RPA, AI and voice-to-text solutions. You will provide line management/leadership for the Band 6 Digital Systems Trainers and eLearning Developers, supporting a broad range of professional groups including clinicians, nurses, and administrative teams.
Working in closely with the Digital Operational Programme Lead, you will contribute to system redesign, process optimisation, and the successful delivery of training and testing.
Main duties of the job
- Develop Trust services, through effective leadership and management skills, linking clinical work to the effective use of clinical information systems
- To have line management responsibility for band 6 testing and training personnel.
- Develop the testing strategy for various projects and be responsible for production of quality test products, e.g. strategy report, test plans, test cases, test scripts, working with key stakeholders, assurance functions and suppliers, to understand system processes, ensure accuracy of test products and to plan, prepare and co-ordinate testing.
To Manage/create process design documents, providing training outline story board / extracts / demonstrations. - To work closely with clinical and managerial staff to enhance their understanding of, and compliance with, digital systems.
- Promote the use of Digital Systems in realising their full potential to assist clinical and business outcomes.
- To have specialist knowledge and act as a consultant to senior managers, managers and clinicians on the best usage of Digital systems
- To work closely with clinical service managers and teams to support clinical quality and audit, promoting best practice development and maintenance throughout the Trust.
- Continuing responsibility to contribute to the development of the clinical governance and quality agenda across the Trust.
- To lead in representing the views and experiences of Trust clinicians at a pan-London level.

- Evidence of leadership/management training
Experience
- Experience of working in the NHS.
- Minimum of 2 years management experience.
