Job Description
As a Technical Consultant, you will help our clients solve challenging issues. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the exciting world of digital technologies, including Digital Twin, IoT systems, advanced process control system, robotics and more. You will assume the role of Simulation & Emulation Senior Technical Consultant for the Data Science and AI Practice. In this role, you will help deliver Digital Twin advisory and implementation projects. As a Senior Consultant, you will work in a client-facing role for established global clientele, helping them apply Digital Twin capabilities to challenging business problems.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical team within complex simulation and emulation projects.
- Partner with the business development team in scoping and selling new projects to grow the EMEA digital twin business.
- Lead experiments and test procedure execution to gain value from digital models.
- Manage and assign junior engineers with tasks during client engagements.
- Embrace our culture of mentorship by supporting the growth of junior employees as they develop into their roles.
- Develop technical and functional specifications based on software design and performance.
- Support the data modeling and requirements definition mapping.
- DevOps development and implementation.
- Contact with customers in the USA, Europe, and Asia.
- Commit to meeting and exceeding customer service metrics, Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
- Manage requirements from multiple clients simultaneously.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- 4+ years of experience leading the implementation, validation and deployment of scalable simulation and emulation technology in an operational setting (specifically in industries of Manufacturing, Life Sciences, High Tech, Auto & Tire, Consumer Goods, and Warehousing & Logistics)
- Experience with Emulate3D, Sim3D/Demo3D, or equivalate industrial standard simulation and emulation (virtual commissioning) software
- Experience in conducting technical evaluations of client infrastructure (e.g., automation control, equipment automation, sensors/instrumentation) and determining methods of conduction effective simulation and emulation
- Experience integrating emulation software with soft and physical controllers
- Understand the technical limitations of code emulation and can effectively convey such limitations to clients
- Competency in equipment design and development
- Experience designing and performing simulation experimentation
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Competency in PLC programming (preferably Allen Bradley)
- Experienced understanding of business requirements and the process of translating them into well-engineered and integrated technical solutions; attention to detail
- Understanding of application architecture
- Experience using leading software development practices, technical documentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plans, etc.)
