Job Summary:
As the Director of Content Marketing, you will oversee the company’s entire content marketing process, from strategy formulation to execution. You will lead a team of content creators, work closely with various departments and the regions to produce relevant expert content, and leverage multiple formats and distribution channels.
Your primary goal is to develop compelling content that enhances brand presence, engages customers, and contributes to revenue growth.
The position requires a strategic thinker with expertise in storytelling for complex buyers and a strong understanding of content marketing best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content marketing and a proven track record of successful content campaigns in technology. Excellent writing and editing skills, along with the ability to adapt style to different formats and audiences, are essential. Strong project management skills are necessary, as you will be handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. A robust knowledge of SEO, social media, and content distribution platforms is crucial, along with the ability to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Content strategy and management: Create content strategies and oversee the entire content lifecycle, from concept to execution.
- Content creation: Oversee the production of high-quality content, including white papers, opinion papers, blog posts, articles, videos, infographics, and social media posts as part of global campaign efforts
- SEO optimization: Ensure all content is optimized for search engines to improve organic visibility and traffic.
- Analyze content performance: Monitor and analyze key metrics and spend to measure the effectiveness of content campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure content aligns with overall business, product, and marketing strategies.
- Manage content calendar: Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content across all channels.
- Audience research: Conduct research to understand the target audience and build buyer-specific content.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest content marketing and technology trends and best practices to continuously improve strategies.
- Manage associations and publishing houses: Manage paid engagements that support thought leadership building and promotion of the company’s content.
- Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Knowledge, skills and experience required for the job:
- 7+ years in B2B strategic content marketing within PaaS, SaaS, cloud, or payments technology.
- Proven success in developing and executing effective content strategies and building unique thought leadership programs.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Skilled in SEO and content analytics tools.
- Creative storyteller with a collaborative mindset.
- Experience thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments with multiple deadlines.
- Capable of working independently and proactively.
